I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made... (Phil. 3:12, MSG). Paul knew that following Christ's call in his life would sometimes be messy.
Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen (Rom. 1:20). It's amazing how many excuses people come up with for rejecting God.
Let our people also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, that they may not be unfruitful (Titus 3:14). We all have basic human needs to feel loved, accepted and worthwhile.
Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer (Isaiah 53:10). Remember that My Father's will included My suffering and the yielding of My rights...
And we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor. 10:5). Exclusion alone will not work. We must apply the law of inclusion as well.
